In this episode, Ian Truscott, Founding Editor of Rockstar CMO, takes a flick through the virtual pages of Rockstar CMO, suggesting an article to take a look at. He chats to Jasmine Martirossian, VP, Marketing at TÜV SÜD Americas and then retires to the virtual Rockstar CMO bar to meet Robert Rose, author, speaker, and Chief Trouble Maker at The Content Advisory.
This week as we move tentatively out of lockdown, at least in the UK, Ian is drawn back to Jane Scandurra's article, "Managing the shift from FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) to FOGO (Fear of Going Out)." Written in May, but is so relevant for what is happening in the world today as marketers we balance the need to build trust in going out while being sensitive to FOGO, which is different from person to person and place to place.
In the interview segment, Ian chats to Jasmine Martirossian, the Vice President of Marketing at TÜV SÜD Americas. You may never have heard of TUV SUD, but they are a huge global organization based out of Germany that focuses on inspection, testing, and certification. Jasmine is responsible for all areas and aspects of marketing in the region, from strategy to implementation, with a focus on the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.
Finally, Ian starts the weekend in our virtual Rockstar CMO bar with Robert Rose, Chief Trouble Maker at The Content Advisory, with a Friday cocktail, and one marketing thought we should take us into the weekend.
